Premises

We have chosen Carlinghow Hall with the needs of local people and local employers in mind. There is a shortage of good quality childcare facilities and very often parents have little or no choice over having to take whatever is available to them.

Staffing

Our staff hold various qualifications including Nursery Nurse Examination Board (NNEB) certificates, Diploma in Pre-School Learning, Learning through Play, Portage, First Aid and Health and Safety.

Child Development

Within the Centre children are cared for on the following basis:

Babies (3 - 24 months)
Tweenies (2 - 3 years)
Pre-schoolers (3 -5 years)

Meals

All our meals are prepared freshly on the premises by our qualified cook and provide a balanced nutritional healthy diet and menus are changed on a regular basis. Meals are taken in a separate dining room as we believe in children developing good table manners as part of their social development.

Opening Times and Fees

Happy Jays Nursery and Childcare Centre is open from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. We are open all year round excluding bank and public holidays. You will be able to drop children off from 7.45am each day.
